Idler

Effect:

The idler is an important part of the excavator and bulldozer walking system. It is installed on the track group to guide the track group. Its main function is to guide the correct winding of the track group, and at the same time, the tension device is used to move the idler to adjust the track group. Tension, so the idler is both the idler of the track group and the tensioner in the tensioning device.

Working principle:

Use a grease gun to inject grease into the grease cylinder through the grease nipple, so that the piston extends out to push the tension spring, and the guide wheel moves to the left to tension the track. The tension spring has a proper stroke, and the spring is compressed when the tension is too large. It acts as a buffer; after the excessive tightening force disappears, the compressed spring pushes the guide wheel to the original position, which can ensure sliding along the track frame to change the wheel base, ensure the disassembly and assembly of the track, and reduce the impact of the walking process. Avoid rail chain derailment.
